Nhà thờ Tân Định, the famous Pink Church in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) is only one of several pink colored Catholic churches in Vietnam
The Nhà thờ Tân Định, or Tân Định Church, is one of the most famous churches in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), and one of the city's top tourist attractions. It may be one of the biggest churches in the city, but what makes it stand out is its stunning bright salmon-pink coloring.

Built in 1876 by the French colonial authority in Vietnam, the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is one of the most famous churches in Ho Chi Minh City's District 3. Not only is it famous for its incredible pink color, it's also the second-largest church after the
Notre Dame Cathedral.

the church is very, very pink! |
Interestingly, this is only one of three pink churches that I had the chance to visit while in Vietnam! The other two were located in Danang, in the country's central region. Tan Dinh Church, however, is by far the most famous pink church in the country. As far as I know, the color doesn't have any special significance, but it does make the church stand out and look absolutely stunning.
